Additional Information: | WIDE OVERHANGING EAVES, CENTRAL BRICK CHIMNEY. THIS HOUSE HAS BEEN RE-SIDED IN VINYL AND ITS FRONT PORCH HAS BEEN PARTIALLY ENCLOSED SINCE IT WAS FIRST SURVEYED IN 1982. 2011- "This previously surveyed Side Gable Vernacular Form house is located in the unincorporated community of Tripoli and it has a rectilinear plan and a principal facade that faces north onto USH 8. The building is one-and-one-half stories tall and when it was first surveyed in 1982 it had a full-width open front porch whose shed roof was a continuation of the north-facing slope of the house's main roof and the house's original clapboard siding was also still intact at that time as well. Since then, however, the house has been resided in vinyl, many of its original window openings have now been covered over, other original windows have been replaced with modem ones, and the front porch has been partially enclosed." -"USH 8, Lustilla Rd (west)-Tracy Rd (east)", WIS-DOT 1580-30-00, prepared by Timothy F. Heggland (MAP), (2011). |
