Kinzel House is significant under Criterion C as a good example of Prairie influenced residential building in Merrill. This building is a contributing resource in the West Main Street Historic District. Built sometime between 1921 and 1925, the first listing for this house is Leslie K. Kinzel. However, by 1930, George P. Ewing, manager of Ewing-Everst Pulp Company, was listed at this address and remains as late at 1945. |
