The commercial building in the photo (AHI 245429) of this record is the building which was constructed after the resource was demolished. LONG BARN WITH NUMEROUS WINDOWS. DEMOLISHED BETWEEN THE YEARS 1975 AND 1986. NAER INVENTORY (06/1979): This building is a two story, rectangular shaped frame structure with a bellcast gable roof and half-basement. The structure measures approximately 24' x 75'. The building was constructed in 1929 by a Mr. Leo Burdeau for his Burdeau Poultry Farm. It was used to raise, butcher and dress chickens. The finished product was sold to area grocery stores, taverns and restaurants, or sold at the site. In 1943 the facility was purchased by Norris Wyand and renamed the Wyand Poultry Farm. It was used for similar purposes by Mr. Wyand until 1973-74, when the business was closed. Green Bay Intensive Survey Phases 2, 3 & 4
