This one-story astylistic utilitarian storage building features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a concrete foundation, a concrete block exterior, a wood trim, and an asphalt shingled gable roof. Description of Complex: The Langlade Rearing Station (31 14E-01) is located off of Highway 64, one and a half miles east of Langlade in Langlade County. This rearing station is within the Nicolet National Forest next to Dalton Creek. The complex consists of a residence (1940), a rearing station office/garage (1940), a rearing house (1938), an oil shed (1944), storage buildings and raceways. The office and the residence have been resided with pale adam green aluminum/vinyl siding with brown wood trim. The other buildings remain very similar to when they were constructed, typically, exposed concrete block, exposed rafter tails, and wood trim detials. All of the buildings in the complex, including the raceways, are in average condition. |
