Additional Information: | Sheathed with narrow clapboard on the first floor while wooden shingles cover the upper half-story. Built in 1923, this was the home of Herman and Emma Ehlers. Herman worked as a roofing contractor. The Ehlers had four children, one of which (Larry) would operate what remains in the original village today as Larry’s Market. The subject house remains today in the extended Ehlers family. |
