NOTES
Additional Information:In 1873, Elias N. White began managing the woolen mill constructed by Pliny Merrick Perkins until it was destroyed by a fire in 1880. Elias N. White also served as president of the Village of Burlington from 1893 to 1898.

In 1917, two years after his death, a mausoleum was built by White’s estate in Burlington Cemetery as called for in his will. Designed by R. H. Fitch, the concrete mausoleum features an exterior of polished, white Vermont marble and solid bronze doors. Four interior crypts house the remains of White, his wife, their son Charles, and an infant child.
