NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property named 'Faville Farm'. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Elijah Faville settled in the Town of Waterloo with his brothers, Stephen W. and Alpheus D. Faville, in 1843. Elijah operated a farm across the street from that of Alpheus in the southwest portion of the township that became known as Faville Grove. The farm’s original agricultural outbuildings are no longer extent. The Elijah Faville Farmstead House is located at N7606 County Highway G in the Town of Waterloo. Eventually Stephen Faville relocated to the City of Lake Mills, while Alpheus and Elijah remained at the farmstead. In the twentieth century, additional outbuildings including a garage and horse barn were constructed on the Elijah Faville farmstead.
