Additional Information: | The Robert C. Brown Cottage is a one-story frame Ranch-style house sited on the eastern shore of Spirit Lake. It has an irregular cross-shaped plan, concrete foundation, and walls clad in board and batten siding. The low-pitched roof is covered with asphalt shingles and gable ends feature decorative knee braces. Most window openings contain one-over-one sliding sash, though the gable on the lakeside west elevation contains a large picture window. The south gable end contains a garage, and a small woodshed is located to the south of the house. |
