Built in 1966-1967 by the Phillips Petroleum Company at an estimated cost of $40,000. Heinz Peter began leasing this service station in May 1969, ultimately purchased it in 1988, and his children are the current property owners. Station built based on standardized design produced by Clarence F. Reinhardt, Phillips Petroleum Company architect.
