Additional Information: | Chalmer Davee Library was erected in 1954. It was renamed in 1997 in honor of Dr. Chalmer Davee, a former graduate of UW-River Falls and member of the Board of Regents. Davee is credited with a number of trends at the university, including a post-World War II construction boom that included the library, an industrial arts building (#25317 - demolished), and numerous dormitories. |
