Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This farmstead consists of eight historic resources including two houses, a pump house, dairy barn, bank barn, basement barn, granary, and garage. All resources are associated in AHI No. 4877. The astylistic utilitarian bank barn was constructed c.1890. It is irregular in plan with a fieldstone foundation, board and batten walls, and a metal-clad gable roof. The north elevation contains a large sliding barn door. A shed-roofed shelter has been constructed off of the south elevation; a low, shed-roofed building mass projects from the eastern elevation and has regular animal openings along its southern side. |
