NOTES
Additional Information:This pump house is located on the grounds of Library Park. The park and the old Village Hall at its center were listed in the National Register in 1981; the pump house is noted in the nomination, but is not described as either contributing or noncontributing.

This astylistic utilitarian pump house was constructed in 1913 and is located at the northeast corner of block containing
the Belleville Village Hall and Public Grounds (also known as Library Park). The pump house is rectangular in plan with
brick walls and an asphalt-shingled hipped roof; two 2-over-2 windows are located in the east and west elevations and a
single metal door (replacing earlier double doors) is located in the north elevation.

07082019, NR Coordinator: this record clarified to reflect that the pump house is considered contributing to the nominated property "Library Park". The AHI record 5220, describes the pump house as contributing. The nomination and National Register database both indicate there is a second contributing "structure" on the property; neither indicates the pump house is non-contributing.
