NOTES
Additional Information:Originally in the Town of Turtle, but now annexed by the City of Beloit, this house was originally associated with early 20th-century rural development. A house (Mrs. J.M. Bliss, owner) is first shown at this location on the 1917 plat map (Hennessey & Company 1917). Prior to this time, ownership of undeveloped land was attributed to John Milner at this location (Hennessey & Company 1904, 1915).

2019: This 1 ½ story bungalow was constructed c.1915. It is rectangular in plan with a concrete block foundation, aluminum siding, and an asphalt-shingled gable roof. The front elevation faces west and is asymmetrical in plan with a front-gabled enclosed porch projecting from the northern half of the façade. The enclosed porch contains a single door in its western wall as well as banks of 1-over-1 windows. Remaining wall space appears to be clad in vinyl siding. The first story of the main building mass contains a bank of three 1-over-1 windows south of the porch (with the center window being larger in size than the flanking windows). A pair of 1-over-1 windows is located under the front gable end. A front-gabled dormer projects from the southern roof slope.
