Additional Information: | 2014- Appearance unchanged. 2012 - The Elmer Kuehl farmstead includes a farmhouse [58185], a small barn [224348], a dairy barn with attached milk house and silo[224349], a stable/equipment shed [224350], and several other agricultural buildings. WIS 67 bisects the property; the house, small barn, garage, and shed are located on the east side, while the remainder of the outbuildings are on the west side. Northeast of the house, a driveway provides access to a c.1910 front-gable, single-bay garage; a c.1910 gable-roof storage building; and a c.1870 three-bay, side-gable bank barn (AHI# 224348). The barn rests on a fieldstone foundation, with walls clad in vertical board siding and a corrugated metal roof. A sliding door is centered on the front (northwest) elevation is accessed by a low earthen ramp. A shed-roof addition is attached to the side (southwest) elevation. |
