Additional Information: | 2015- "This farmstead includes a house (224950), three historic outbuildings (a summer kitchen (224951), small animal barn (224952) and agricultural complex (224953)), and a modem silo and corncrib. The 2-story Cross Gable house (AHI #224950) was constructed circa 1900. It is irregular in plan with vinyl siding and an asphalt-shingled roof. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan. The front gable portion of the house contains two 1-over-1 windows that are centered at the second story and at the first story. A contemporary, narrow window has been added to the east side of the windows in the first story. The east end of the side gable portion contains one 1-over-1 window at the second level near the cross section of the house and small shed roof entrance porch with a small addition extending from the front gable first level. The west side gable portion of the house contains two 1-over-1 windows near the cross section of the gables at the first and second story. All of the 1-over-1 windows are flanked by narrow shutters." - "Eagle Drive to STH 181 Survey," WisDOT ID #2310-14-00, Prepared by Megan Daniels and Justin Miller - UWM CRM (2015). |
