NOTES
Additional Information:2013- This two-story, side-gabled, Dutch Colonial Revival-style house is sheathed with wide clapboard. A shed-roof dormer outfitted with two paired sets of double-hung sashes separated by a solitary example highlights the main facade on the second floor. The central entrance is topped with an arched element built into the eave that is adorned with pairs of knee bracing; a tripartite grouping of one-over-one, double-hung sashes are located to either side of the entrance. Eave returns and a half-moon attic window are noted on the side elevations, which are also pierced by both paired and single examples of one-over-one, double-hung sash windows. Assessment records and city directories suggest a 1927 date of construction for this house, which was first owned by John T. and Lucille Michels. Michels was born in 1887 and was an inspector for the Deltox Rug Company. The couple remained in the house until at least 1930. The house was owned by Albert Clements in the 1940s and 1950s.
