Additional Information:THIS BUILDING IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF A SMALL OFFICE BUILDING CONSTRUCTED OF ROCK-FACE CONCRETE BLOCK. THE USE OF THIS MATERIAL BECAME POPULAR FOR BUILDING FOUNDATIONS IN THE EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY, BUT ONLY A SMALL NUMBER OF BUILDINGS WERE FULLY CONSTRUCTED OF CONCRETE BLOCK DURING THIS TIME. THE BUILDING WAS BUILT AROUND THE SAME TIME AND IN A SIMILAR MANNER AS ITS NEIGHBOR TO THE WEST AND ACCORDING TO SANBORN-PERRIS FIRE INSURANCE MAPS, BOTH BUILDINGS TOOK THE PLACE OF SEVERAL FRAME AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT DEALERSHIP BUILDINGS ON THIS SITE.
