Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This one and a half-story astylistic utilitarian garage features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a concrete block foundation, a rock-faced concrete block exterior, a wood trim, and an asphalt shingled gabled roof. Dormers intersect with the main roof in the attic story. The interior is finished with a plastered ceiling, painted walls and a concrete flooring. A 1941 addition has a full basement and two overhead garage doors. Another addition was built in 1979. The building, which is in good condition, has a total of ten garage stalls. The Wausaukee Ranger Station garage (#388) has functioned since its 1935 date of construction as a storage facility for fire fighting equipment and hand tools, and as a repair shop. A building related to this structure is a ranger station. (See Map Code 23/20). Resurveyed 2013. Appearance unchanged.
