Additional Information: | 2014: This c.1920 one-and-one-half-story vernacular house has a poured concrete foundation, wood siding, and asphalt-shingled side gable roof. The central projecting entry bay has a swooping Tudor Revival-style front gable, which is flanked by a group of three one-over-one replacement windows to the east and a single three-over-one wood window to the west. Secondary elevations include a mix of wood and replacement windows. The property also includes several agricultural outbuildings. The c.1900 barn (AHI No. 229759) has a concrete foundation, metal siding, and metal gambrel roof with flared eaves and a hay hood. The c.1930 gable milk house attached to its south elevation is constructed of concrete block. A c.1930 concrete stave silo and c.1930 underground concrete slipform silo are also adjacent to the barn. West of the barn is a c.1940 round arch metal machine shed (AHI No. 229760). Other outbuildings include two c.1920 wood-sided sheds (AHI Nos. 229761 and 229762), a c.1940 metal animal barn (AHI No. 229763), c.1940 grain bin, and small c.1940 gable shed. 2022: No visible changes to the house. |
