NOTES
Additional Information:This one-story Quonset hut has a corrugated walls and a corrugated metal, barrel vault roof. A single-leaf, metal door is located on the south elevation.

This structure was not present on 1958 historical aerial photographs, suggesting a construction date after this time (APFO 1958). The Quonset hut building type is a durable, prefabricated structure that was designed during World War II with a semi-circular cross section. The utilitarian design allowed for Quonsets to be used by the military for storage, housing, offices and more (Thomas 2003:7-10). After World War II, surplus was sold to the public, and they became especially popular for agricultural storage purposes (Thomas 2003:1-2).
