NOTES
Additional Information:This one-story, concrete block-constructed, industrial building is topped with a slightly pitched roofline. The brick-faced, Durand Avenue elevation terminates as a plain parapet (obscuring the gabled roofline) with simple coping. Windows along the front (north) of the building are largely two-over-two-light, horizontal examples, while the side walls are comprised of a series of rectangular openings with twelve-light, factory-sash style windows (the central six open outward). An overhead, wood-and-glass garage door is located at the approximate center of the building, with a human-scale doorway to its right (west).

This structure is identified as having been built in 1950. The first known occupant of the structure, as noted in the 1955 city directory, was the Modern Plate Company, patternmakers; the owner and operator of which is cited as having been Edward Kirkorian from 1958 to 1988. The company remained in the building through at least 1976; it later moved to 2612 18th Street. Signage indicates the building is currently utilized as an auto body and collision repair garage.
