Additional Information: | 2016- Lumber Yard Plus is a c.1920, one-story, astylistic utilitarian building with a rectangular plan and a gable roof with a monitor. The walls are clad in wood drop siding and aluminum replacement siding and rest on a concrete foundation. Both the main roof and monitor roof are covered in asphalt shingles and have exposed rafter tails. The main entrance is centered on the front (northeast) facade and consists of a modern replacement door flanked by single-pane windows. The rear entrance is centered on the rear (southwest) elevation and consists of a large sliding replacement door. The windows along both sides of the monitor and in the gable ends are six-light, wood, fixed sash. The front of the building functions as a hardware store and has been altered with drop ceilings and partition walls. The rear of the building continues to function as a lumber storage facility and retains the lumber racks on either side of a long central aisle beneath the monitor. The property contains a number of modern outbuildings that do not warrant survey, including several pole sheds and a concrete storage building. -"STH 13" WisDOT ID #1610-08-31/74, Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc.
