NOTES
Additional Information:2015: "This farmstead consists of a house, barn, and two outbuildings. The c.1890, two-and-one-half-story, frame Queen Anne house (AHI# 230056) has clapboard siding and an asphalt shingle gable roof. The house has canted corners with decorative brackets and two forms of decorative wood shingles in the gable ends. There is a centrally located brick chimney at the joint of the cross gables. Most windows have been covered with wooden boards; the few visible windows are two-over-two, double-hung wood sash with exterior screens. A small porch located on the front (west) facade is supported by wooden posts. The c.1890 barn (AHI# 230064) is located to the southeast of the house. It is constructed of vertical wood planks with a gable roof and a hay hood on the west elevation. An additional structure appears to be attached to east elevation, likely a milk house. A c.1900 metal windmill is located east of the house. A third outbuilding is located to the southeast of the house. This outbuilding is partially collapsed and unidentifiable as to its historic use. Although vacant, the house and barn represent turn of the century farming in the Belleville area, prior to suburbanization."
