A facade-length transom also has been infilled with a variety of materials. The upper level is dominated by a raised parapet adorned with gabled blocks, raised brick and a clay-tile pent. Thin, limestone, spiraled columns flank two tripartite sets of replacement double-hung sashes; these windows are also topped with a copper pent. Three paired sets of replacement, double-hung sashes also pierce the upper facade. As early as 1922, this commercial block was the home of Jos. Dziekan's hardware store and a realty company.
