NOTES
Additional Information:Built in 1973, this one-story nursing care facility--known today as Manor Care--is faced with brick and is
topped with a flat roof, less the entrance, which is gabled. Oriented to the south, the entry is located near the
west end of the facility; a series of six columnar posts support an overhanging gabled roofline which shelters a
centered doorway with a Colonial Revival-style surround. Aside from the single windows that flank the
entrance, remaining fenestration is regularly arranged and consists of paired, one-over-one-light sash.

The facility is largely devoid of any style, with only its entrance suggesting a modest
Colonial Revival influence. As a result of its largely vernacular appearance, the structure is not recommended as
potentially eligible. This facility was built in 1973 to serve as
a post-hospital care facility, a function it continues to serve today. Despite that fact, the facility has not yet
reached 50 years of age and is, therefore, not recommended for potential eligibility at this time. A DOE is not
required.
