Additional Information:Built in 1924, this building with five storefronts and sixteen apartments was designed by architect William J. Kozick for The Mountain Reality Company. Early businesses concerns included the Alois Memmel Real Estate Company, a dry cleaner, florist, bowling alley, cookware store and a Roundy, Pickham & Dexter grocery store. Memmel acquired the building in the 1930s. 2015- "Constructed with brick in the Period Revival style, this three-story combination retail and apmiment building features street-level storefronts outfitted entirely with replacement, plate-glass windows. A stone band underlined with several rows of raised brick separates the first and second floors. Tile-sheathed corner blocks are pierced on the second floor with a round-arch window opening and blind arches highlighted with tile ornamentation; canted bay windows project from the third floor. The top of each corner block features a raised parapet surmounted with a limestone cap adorned with two round-arch elements. A tile-covered pent parapet joins each of the corner blocks. Fenestration is a mix of replacement double-hung sashes arranged singly, in pairs, as well as in groups of three and four. The small spaces between third-floor window openings are sheathed with glazed tile. Built in 1924, this building with five storefronts and sixteen apartments was designed by architect William J.
