NOTES
Additional Information:Both William and Dora were German immigrants. Their farm was characterized as a general farm.

2015- "Rising from a stone foundation, this two-story, brick, gabled-ell has a one-and-one-half-stoty ell. An oculus window is located
within the gable on the primary (east) facade. Fenestration appears to be modern and rests on stone sills. Window openings
feature lintels consisting of double rows of rowlock brick topped with a row of header brick. A modern, one-story, shed-roof
porch shelters the primary fas;ade of the ell. A one-story wing addition projects from the rear elevation of the ell. A one-story,
brick, shed-roof porch is found on the north elevation of this rear wing.

The subject residence was constructed circa 1900 by William Wehrenberg and his wife, Dora, both of whom had immigrated to
the United State from Germany. William was a farmer and his 62-acre property was characterized as a "general farm" in census
records. By 1920, William and Dora's daughter Erma and her husband, August Walter, are operating the farm. The property
remained in the Walters family until at least the 1980s."
