Additional Information: | 2016- "This Cross Gabled, frame farmhouse was erected ca. 1897, probably for A. Roll. The house sits on a stone rubble foundation, and its gabled and hip-with-deck roofs are surfaced with asphalt shingles. The house has been altered with replacement windows; the front facade first-floor window openings may have been reduced. The wrap-around porch appears to be of recent construction, and features slender posts, and a tall balustrade. A large, ca. 1990s addition attaches to the rear of the house. Prior to 1974, there were at least two agricultural outbuildings on the site. Presently, a ca. 1990 metal pole building is set to the rear of the house." -"County Highway A, Mayflower Rd-State Highway 47", WisDOT #6505-03-00, Prepared by Elizabeth L. Miller. (2016). |
