Additional Information: | TALL DOUBLE HUNG WINDOWS W/ CONCRETE SILLS. BUILDING WAS NOT USED AS A DEPOT, NO PASSENGER SERVICE IN NIAGARA. WAS USED TO MANAGE FREIGHT FOR THE NIAGARA MILL. Building was constructed as a freight office for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. It has a long setback from the street, so it would be closer to the railroad tracks it served. It was not a depot, but built to handle the mass amounts of wood and other materials coming to the Niagara mill and the vast amounts of paper leaving the mill. 2016 - appearance unchanged |
