Additional Information: | 2016 - The complex consists of the facilities of the Milwaukee Hay Tool Company on the west side of S. 29th Street and the Milwaukee Malleable and Grey Iron Company on the east side of the street, laid out along the railroad corridor. Milwaukee Malleable and Milwaukee Tool Company's c.1930 office faces east, and the central entrance has brick walls and a monogrammed door with glass block surround. The large manufacturing complex extends at rear, and has drop siding, roofline monitors, brick firewalls with stepped parapets, and multi-light original windows. The foundry complex on the east side has brick walls and a mixture of original and replacement sash. |
