Additional Information: | The restaurant was constructed in 1962 in a fairly subdued Contemporary style. It is L-shaped in plan with red brick veneered walls and flat and low-pitched gable roofs. The front elevation faces northeast and is asymmetrical in plan. A front-gabled mass contains a three-sided bay window and a central doorway located within a small, projecting entry bay. The entry bay is clad in composition board siding and has a low-pitched gable roof with overhanging eaves. The northwest side of the building features a wide eave overhang with projecting rafters and three large windows sheltered by canvas awnings. A flat-roofed addition to the main building projects from its southeast side. This contains a recessed entry and two three-pane, fixed-sash windows in its front elevation. |
