Additional Information: | Assessors records indicate a 1955 date of construction. By August 1962 the property was for sale and it was owned in 1962 by Tom Kamps, an electric meter reader. Raymond Decker Jr. added the garage in 1978 and James Geitner remodeled the home in 1987. 2016- "Covered with stucco, this large, one-story, Contemporary-style house has a taller, shed-roof core that is encircled by a shorter, hipped-roof extension. A two-car, hipped-roof garage addition is attached to the nmth elevation. Earth is mounded against the western wall (and perhaps the rear also). The main entrance is marked by projecting horizontal beams and floor-to-ceiling plate-glass (or casement) windows. Other fenestration is obscured by shrubbery and appears to be large plate-glass windows. Assessors records indicate a 1955 date of construction. By August 1962 the property was for sale and another source later in the year references Tom Kamps, an electric meter reader, as the owner. Raymond Decker Jr. added the garage in 1978 and James Geitner remodeled the home in 1987." -"W. Spencer St: S. Mayflower Rd. (west) to S. Casaloma Dr. (east)", WisDOT#4657-25-00, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd. (2016). |
