Additional Information: | 2016- "Constructed c.1920, this one-and-one-half-story brick bungalow has a rectangular plan and rests on a brick foundation. The property displays modest Craftsman influences in the overhanging eaves with knee braces and exposed rafter tails. The gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles and a large gable dormer is centered on the main (south) facade. The eaves extend to shelter a full-width porch on the front (south) facade, supported by square brick columns on stone piers with a stone knee wall. The walls of the first floor are clad in red brick with stone quoins at the corners, and the walls in the gable ends and the dormers are clad in vinyl siding. Fenestration includes wood, fixed-sash, picture windows with multi-light transoms; multi-light fixed sash; and three-over-one, double-hung sash, all with simple wood surrounds. Most windows are covered with aluminum storm windows." -"STH 23: County Shop Rd to Minerva St", WisDOT#5245-02-02/72 and 5245-02-02/73, Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc., (2016). |
