NOTES
Additional Information:The First National Bank of Wauwatosa initially occupied the Greenwood Block, located at 7600 Harwood Avenue, in 1907 as the first bank in the City of Wauwatosa. The first president of the bank was Emerson Hoyt, who also served as the first mayor of the city. In 1911, the bank purchased a lot and constructed a new Neoclassical Revival Bank building. A rear addition was added in 1919 and the main façade completely remodeled in 1935. The bank left the Harwood Avenue location in 1955 for a new building on State Street.
