NOTES
Additional Information:Currie Park, established in 1919 by Milwaukee County, pre-dates the development of the later parkway plans and was eventually incorporated into the Upper Menominee River Parkway. The park originally served as Milwaukee County’s first airport, but was replaced in 1927 by the Currie Park Golf Course. By 1936, CCC workers completed pedestrian paths, a Pump-house, mechanical shelters, recreational areas, stonework, and golf course clubhouse in the park.
