Additional Information: | 2016- "This two-story vernacular house was constructed c.1910. It is of frame construction, sheathed in clapboard, and rests on a rusticated concrete block foundation. The hip roof, covered in asphalt shingles, features large, projecting cross gables with wide eave overhangs and decorative scalloped shingles in the gable ends of the front (east) facade and side (north and south) elevations. Windows are one-over-one, double-hung sash; a large fixed window with a transom is located north of the main entrance on the facade, and a one-story hip-roof projecting bay extends from the south elevation. A hip roof porch with a dentilled cornice runs the length of the facade and is supported by modern square posts and balustrade. A c.1950 integrated garage addition stands at the rear of the house." -"STH 22: STH 16-CTH CM/Barry Rd", WisDOT#6050-00-01, Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc. (2016). |
