| Additional Information: | A 'site file' titled "Mueller-Sixel Farm" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. The Mueller-Sixel farmhouse is a two-story vernacular house, built in 1910 (datestone). The footprint forms a T, made up of a side gable (west) and a hip-with-deck section (east). The house is constructed of brick with a stone foundation, and the roofs are clad with asphalt shingles. The main entrance is in the side-gable section, and is sheltered beneath a flat-roofed porch. The porch exhibits a concrete block foundation, and wrought iron replacement railings. The windows are 1/1, regularly-distributed, and set in segmental-arched surrounds with stone sills. The first-floor windows are accented with corbeled hood moldings that display a German flair. A window is found west of the door at the first story in the side-gable section; at the second story, another window and door appear. The hip-with-deck section features three windows at each story. A brick chimney rises through the deck roof, and another perches on the ridge of the side-gable roof. 2017- "This property is composed of the farmhouse [233539], the machine shed [233541] the original farmhouse/summer kitchen, the dairy bam with attached milk house and attached granary, the silo and artesian well [all 233540].
