NOTES
Additional Information:THE ROBERT AND BETTY LUXFORD HOUSE IS A TWO STORY FLAT ROOFED CONTEMPORARY STYLE HOUSE WITH LARGE WINDOWS, PROMINENT DECK, AND GARAGE BELOW. THOUGH ARCHITECT DESIGNED, THE ARCHITECT IS UNKNOWN, AS THE BLUEPRINTS ARE NOT SIGNED. ROBERT LUXFORD OWNED AND OPERATED LUXCOR ENGINEERING IN LA CROSSE, A TOOLD AND DIE MAKER. THE LUXFORDS ALSO OWNED RIDGEVIEW STABLES, WHICH ARE ACROSS COUNTY FA FROM THIS PROPERTY. THE LUXFORDS MOVED TO LA CROSSE IN 1941, AND MOVED AWAY IN 1972, AT WHICH TIME THEY SOLD THE HOUSE. THE HOUSE'S SITING IS IMPORTANT, AS IT SITS ON A CLEARING OVERLOOKING THE PANORAMIC VIEWS OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY. ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT OWNERS, THOUGH THE KITCHEN HAS BEEN REMODELED, THE HOUSE IS VERY MUCH INTACT ON THE INTERIOR.
