Additional Information: | This 2-story Queen Anne house was constructed c.1885. It is irregular in plan with a stone foundation, clapboard walls, and an asphalt-shingled, gable roof. The front elevation faces east and is asymmetrical in plan. The front-gabled portion of the façade contains a single-pane picture window at the first story and a pair of 1-over-1 windows at the second story. Both first- and second-story windows contains panels of fish-scale shingles below. Fish-scale shingles are also located inside each gable. Bands of simple wood trim also accentuate each elevation, both above and below the first- and second-story windows. A shed-roofed porch is located in the ell at the southeast corner of the building. The porch features a spindlework frieze board and railing. A hipped-roof bay window is located on the south elevation; the bay window contains decorative brackets along the roofline and panels of fish-scale shingles below each window. |
