NOTES
Additional Information:2019: F.J. Turner High School was constructed in 1962 with a sympathetic addition to the west of the building constructed in 1999. The one-story building is Contemporary in style with a concrete foundation, brick walls, and a flat roof. Overall, the building is long and low with a patterned concrete cornice running the perimeter of the roofline. The front elevation faces south and is asymmetrical in plan. The primary entrance to the school contains large banks of window walls separated by brick pilasters; the window walls are comprised of staggered rectangular panes with metal frames. Doorways are located east and west of these window bays. The remainder of the façade contains large expanses of uninterrupted brick wall with a secondary entry located near the western end of the façade and a pair of single-pane windows located east of the center entry bay. The eastern half of the building complex is devoted to school district offices while the western portion of the complex serves as the high school.
