NOTES
Additional Information:The farm on which the house stands was owned in 1889 by John and Louisa Bleick, both Bavarian immigrants. Ferdinand J. Bleick, John and Louisa’s son, and his wife Lena held the property by 1910. Ferdinand died in March 1924 and his son, John, died in May 1924. Lena subsequently moved to Appleton, where she lived in 1930. She likely sold the property to William and Emma Becker who held it from at least 1930 into the 1950s. William died in 1954 as did Emma in 1971. It is uncertain how long she remained on the property after her husband’s death (plat maps and US census records for 1880, 1910, 1920, 1930 and 1940).
