Additional Information: | 2019 - The cream brick gabled ell farmhouse was constructed c.1895. It retains its general form and massing, but also has numerous alterations, including replacement windows on all visible elevations; changes to some window types, sizes, and configurations; and a partial front porch enclosure. Original details that are still intact include its fieldstone foundation and segmental arch window openings with stone sills. East of the farmhouse is a gambrel-roofed barn with a fieldstone foundation and vertical wood board siding. On its south gambrel end is a shed-roofed milk house and a modern loafing shed extends off the east elevation. Immediately west of the barn are two silos. On the south side of CTH H, opposite the farmhouse, is gable-roofed barn with vertical wood board siding. There are narrow gaps between the boards on the east and west for ventilation and light. Between the farmhouse and gambrel-roofed barn are a garage and two machine sheds. |
