NOTES
Additional Information:This barn stands on the historic C.E. Meredith farmstead. Only the house on this property was previously inventoried in the AHI (227236). County records indicate the barn was built in 1935. The west face of the gabled building adjoins the east wall of the original barn. This barn has a side-gable roof and a shed roof extension on its south face, into the small stockyard. It has vertical wood siding and doors on its south and east faces.
The barn was not readily visible from the public ROW, and part of its evaluation included comparison of aerial overviews of the property from 1974 (https://vintageaerial.com/photos/wisconsin/kenosha/1974/KKE/36/17) and ca2018 Google Maps 3D aerial imagery).
The barn is not individually eligible. The farmstead as a whole is also recommended not eligible for listing in the NRHP
