Additional Information: | This building stands on the historic Mike Hensgen farmstead. While the house and two small outbuildings stand in Section 9, this and most of the farm buildings stand in Section 10. The machine shed was constructed ca 1950. It has a front-gable metal roof and metal walls. A large sliding door is set in the west gable-end, with a pedestrian door and sliding door on the south wall. A central aisle runs through the building with wood horse stables on either side. It has a dirt floor. This building is not individually eligible. The farmstead as a whole is also recommended not eligible for listing in the NRHP. |
