NOTES
Additional Information:September 2020:
Agricultural fields are located to the north, south, and west, and a forested area is located to the east.

#242148 includes a dwelling, ground barn, equipment garage, greenhouse, and a faux-log structure. According to the county tax assessor, the vernacular gable-front dwelling was built in circa 1900 and appears in historic aerials from 1939 (Assessor Data 2020; USDA 1939). It has been heavily modified and currently has a gabled, asphalt shingle roof, vinyl siding and a concrete masonry unit foundation. A modern, uncut stone masonry chimney is located on the eastern slope of the roof. The exterior materials are all modern replacements. The windows are also modern replacements and include sliding, bay, octagonal, one-paned, and awning vinyl windows. The dwelling also includes a circa 1980 gabled addition on its north elevation that covers the original entrance and provides a new entrance on its east elevation, accessed via a modern deck. The circa 1940 ground barn is located to the north of the dwelling and has a metal gambrel roof and drop siding along with some replacement aluminum panel siding on one elevation. It has four-paned wood sash windows and single-pane replacement vinyl windows. It features a “double-Z” barn door, and a gabled milking shed is located on the east elevation with wavy-edge asbestos siding and asphalt shingle roofing. To the northeast of the ground barn is a circa 1990 equipment garage with a gabled metal roof, metal siding, and a shed-roof addition. To the west of the ground barn in a circa 1990 gabled greenhouse. To the northwest of the dwelling is a circa 2000 faux-log structure with a rolled asphalt roof.
