Additional Information: | Built circa 1860 to 1875, this farmhouse is a vernacular two-and-one-half-story dwelling in a rectangular plan. It has a side gable roof clad in asphalt shingles and a one-story porch supported by simple unadorned posts. The building’s siding and windows have been replaced with modern vinyl versions. One-story additions project from the sides of the building, one of which is an attached garage. Also located on the property are several outbuildings. These include a raised basement dairy barn with a stone foundation and wood siding, a concrete stave silo, a concrete block outbuilding, a metal pole barn, and a small gable roof barn. |
