NOTES
Additional Information:01/2021: The property includes a ca. 1920 front-gabled dwelling associated with two non-historic-age garages. The one-and-a-half-story dwelling has a standing-seam metal roof, replacement vinyl cladding, and replacement 1/1 and fixed vinyl windows. The resource has a single-story wing addition with a full, gabled-front porch with wooden supports across the primary façade. A second single-story wing addition is located at the rear of the dwelling. The additions and alterations obscure the dwelling’s original form, fenestration pattern, and any historically present architectural detailing.

According to the 1914 and 1918 Grant County Plat Maps, Jacob Breuer and his brother owned the property (Geo. A. Ogle & Company 1918; Kenyon Company 1914). The dwelling is not depicted on the plat maps; however, it does appear on the 1955 Cassville quadrangle map associated with at least one no-longer-extant agricultural outbuilding (USGS 1955). The dwelling is not depicted on the 1900, 1904, or 1908 Lancaster quadrangle maps (USGS 1900, 1904, and 1908). Review of historic aerial imagery indicates the presence of the dwelling on site in 1953 with additional buildings that are no longer extant (NETR 2020). The non-historic-age garages appear on site by 2005 (NETR 2020).
