NOTES
Additional Information:01/2021: The resource is a ca. 1900 highly-altered two-story cube dwelling that may have historically exhibited elements of the Prairie Style. The dwelling is associated with a non-historic-age outbuilding and a large non-historic-age garage. The dwelling features an asphalt-shingled hipped roof with deck and has experienced several additions that obscure its original footprint, form, and fenestration pattern. These include enclosure of the original entry and replacement of porch components. A hipped-roof side addition and an uncovered wooden deck addition flank the side elevation. Other alterations include replacement vinyl siding, replacement 1/1 vinyl windows, and the construction of a non-historic-age garage immediately adjacent to the resource.

The dwelling appears on the 1900 Lancaster quadrangle (USGS 1900). According to the 1914 Grant County Plat map, Louis Weinbrenner owned the property (Kenyon Company 1914). By 1918, the dwelling is depicted, and the property was owned by the Weisheit Brothers (Geo. A. Ogle & Company 1918). Additional historic aerial imagery research revealed that the dwelling is visible in the 1955 aerial (NETR 2020).
