| Additional Information: | This two-and-one-half-story, side-gable building was constructed c.1910. It is of frame construction, is sheathed in vinyl siding, and has a rectangular plan on a concrete-block foundation. The side-gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles. A one-story addition is on the side (west) elevation. The first- and second-story windows are replacement, six-over-one, double-hung sash in a combination of paired and individual windows. The addition features a trio of replacement, one-over-one, double-hung sash windows. The gable peaks on the side (east and west) elevations each feature a fanlight window. The house has a cutaway corner (northwest) entryway with an overhead light, and a 15-pane glazed door. An additional entrance on the opposite side (east) elevation features a similar door and a small sidelight covered by an aluminum awning. The asphalt driveway takes up most of the yard and the rear (south) elevation faces Lower Spring Lake. The building once functioned as a boat rental and ice cream shop but is now used as a residence. A single-car garage sits southeast of the main house and was constructed c.1960. It is of frame construction and is sheathed in vinyl siding. The front-gable roof is covered in asphalt shingles. |
