Additional Information: | This one-story ranch house with hipped roof was built on the east side of CTH N in 1962. The house exhibits typical stylistic features of the ranch style, including its rectangular plan, low-pitched roof, and unique façade cladding. The central front entrance is recessed in a front gable bay; the overhang is supported by a wrought iron post. The windows have concrete sills, and the hopper and casement windows may be original wood frames. The facade is clad with a wide cream-colored brick base and vertical board cladding; secondary elevations have aluminum/vinyl lap siding. The house has a concrete block foundation and asphalt shingle roof. The attached garage is integrated with the roofline of the house; it is set on the north end and faces north. The detached pole garage was built in 1980. |
